Cebas Visual Technology

cebas Visual Technology Inc. is a privately held software company headquartered in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Our company employs talented developers and other personnel worldwide.

Our mission is to continue to support our user communities and develop highly innovative and compelling visual effects that are physically accurate,  rule-based algorithms.

Production Solutions

The company offers proprietary production solutions for VFX studios and visualization design companies, including GPU rendering software for handling large graphic data.

Cebas Visual Technology's highly skilled developers work in tandem with the user communities to develop market leading visual effects (VFX) and rendering algorithms that are at once powerful for art-direction and problem-solving. We have successfully worked in conjunction with major motion pictures, architectural visualization firms, commercial designers, game cinematic agencies and other visual industries to develop unique features for their target audiences. Besides, becoming increasingly used in architectural and product visualizations, cebas software is also progressively being used for scientific communications and videomapping.

finalRender is the ultimate hybrid rendering plugin for 3ds Max users. Developed with a new breed of light simulation software that offers unique algorithms and approaches to light simulation not found in any other renderer. With the newly launched trueHybrid TM, finalRender does no longer matter if you create photo real images on a CPU, on a GPU or both at the same time - it's one application parallel power. This March 2018, finalRender Drop 1 has incorporated OptiX AI denoiser with cebas Adaptive Sampling technology that offers you flexibility and quality images. Achieving life like colors is further achieved with finalRender's Physically Accurate Dispersion.

To capture a memorable point in time, cebas tools were the ones that helped convert movies into high quality 3D Stereo and continues to do so today. This cebas technology was pioneered in the "Narnia" productions and were further developed under an agreement with a Los Angeles / Hollywood special effects studio in the highly successful transformation of "Harry Potter" into major 3D Stereo.

Cebas VFX and rendering technologies have also successfully contributed to popular movie productions and commercials in the international arena, used in Japan's TV and anime series, as well as featured in several China box-office movie hits.

Cebas partners mainly with Autodesk and develops industry-standard 3D software for our valued users. Autodesk has been incorporating cebas technologies into their offerings for a great number of years now. Cebas will continue to work in close collaboration with 3dsMax developers to bring ongoing powerful updates in visual effects and rendering.
