I can't figure out how i make a glass material to be transparent but NOT refracting! I tried everything, how can i do that?


finalRender is a true raytracer that supports physically accurate refraction/reflection effects. If you wish to have a ray go through a transparent object without distortion (refraction) you need to give this material an IOR (Index Of Refraction) of 1.0. This will make sure the ray goes through "untouched". When the IOR is set to 1.0 it will act like the 3ds max Opacity effect.
