Every flower is animated depending the light received over time. So if one flower receive illumination will grow, but when it stops receiving light will stop growing, until its under illumination again.

Sand Solver System

You can download the scene and see the tutorial here: andvfx.com/?p=2049. Instead of using a FLIP or SPH solver I use a Fake metode. First I drive a simulation with bullet with a procedural joint systems low res (2 to 4K boxes) 3 seconds per frame and directable. I cache this first sim and add particles over it (around 4Milion), this particles has no physics at all,

TP Partitioner corrects tP settings, manage cache tasks, with 3ds Max opened, or cache to Farm (requires at least 1 tP network-sim licence).
