cebas Visual Technology Inc. is glad to announce the release of its legendary volumeBreaker, ScalpelMAX, stairMAX and maxVR.qt plug-ins for 3ds Max and 3ds Max Design 2013.

The recompile offers higher stability as well as full support through cebas’ web-install feature "cebas Autoupdate 2.x", allowing users easy and instant access to the latest updates of their favorite tools.

volumeBreaker™

A volumetric geometry-fracturing tool that will instantly create sub-geometry within any mesh - geometry that perfectly fits together and fills any given volume.

With volumeBreaker, cebas brings a Hollywood quality destruction tool to 3ds Max.

It was developed to meet the very exacting demands of VFX artists working on multi-million dollar movies such as “2012”, which is why volumeBreaker is truly a production proven tool!

ScalpelMAX™

It is an object modifier; offering advanced slicing functionality with many specialized features. ScalpelMAX is perfect for users who are looking to create complex CAD visualizations with polygon counts above 100.000. Also used in games and video effects - people fell in love with this plug-in due its incredible texture-slicing feature!

Mapping coordinates won't be affected by ScalpelMAX operations and this makes it possible to cut down any geometry without losing the materials and mappings.

stairMAX™

The advanced stair builder plug-in lets you create parametric stairs and escalators from within 3ds Max and 3ds Max Design. Every single stair parameter can be animated as stairMAX uses a 100% parametric approach to create 3D stairs.

With just a few mouse clicks, you can build hundreds of different stairs. The ease of use is beyond remarkable. Even user defined and customized stair elements stay fully parametric and adjustable!

maxVR.qt™

This plug-in lets you easily create QuickTime MOV files for the web or CD-ROM presentations.

maxVR.qt uses the latest QuickTime technology, licensed and distributed by Apple. You can create QuickTime Panorama files and also QuickTime Object files.

Here’s How to Get it

3ds Max 2013 for volumeBreaker™, ScalpelMAX™, stairMAX™ and maxVR.qt™ are all free to download and can be acquired by registered users via cebas Autoupdate. Please read the “How to Get cebas Autoupdate” section below for download instructions then check the cebas Autoupdate Help Video as well as the cebas Autoupdate 2.0 video to guide you through the simple steps of getting your service pack update.
 

If you didn’t purchase the products directly from the cebas Store, you will need to create an account and then click the Register Me button in the My Downloads section. Within 24 hours, you will have all the updates and downloads available for all of your cebas products. Please note that you do NOT need to install all of the patches in order to be updated; simply installing the new build will provide this latest version of the software with all the fixes, updates and enhancements required.

How to Get cebas Autoupdate

Current users can log into my.cebas.com and obtain the Auto Updater from their “View Product Registrations” account menu. Registered finalRender users will automatically see all available download options.
Customers not currently registered on www.cebas.com, or having problems downloading the Auto Updater can use the contact menu located on the homepage to drop us a line and provide all relevant information including serial number(s)… we are always glad to be of service!
